The Omaha Storm Chasers will open the club's 50th season on Thursday night with two games against Colorado Springs.
General Manager Martie Cordaro says Friday evening's matchup between the Storm Chasers and Sky Sox at Werner Park has been rescheduled to Thursday night due to the cold winter weather forecast on Friday.
Two seven-inning contests will be played on Thursday, with game one set to start at 6:35 p.m. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Game two begins approximately 30 minutes after game one. Friday's scheduled fireworks post-game show will be rescheduled for Thursday, August 30.
Tickets for Thursday's originally scheduled contest will be good for both games. Fans with a ticket to Friday's game can exchange those tickets for a ticket of equal/lesser value to a future Storm Chasers home date, excluding July 3, August 3 and August 4.
