An Elkhorn South High student charged with making terroristic threats in February pleaded no contest to the charges during an appearance in juvenile court on Monday.
There will be no trial for the boy and he will remain in juvenile detention until he returns for a disposition on May 24th where a judge will decide his fate.
He will undergo a psychiatric evaluation to be used in considering his sentence. Back in February, another student had reported to a teacher that they had seen a threatening message written in the boy's notebook.
The note specified a date when a shooting would take place at the school with his parent's gun.
