A former nurse at a Lincoln hospital is behind bars after allegedly stealing drugs.
Lincoln Police authorities say former Bryan West nurse, 30 year old Krista Morgan, was arrested Thursday. Morgan is accused of stealing two milliliter bottles of fentanyl citrate. On January 12th, hospital employees noticed the drugs were missing during an inventory check. Authorities say Morgan has quit her job at Bryan West shortly before the drugs went missing.
Police say they contacted Morgan about the stolen fentanyl on March 29, and then arrested and booked on a charge of Acquiring a Controlled Substance by Theft.
