Omaha Performing Arts has announced their 2018-2019 season, and there is sure to be something on the schedule for every person's tastes.
At Monday night's season reveal, Omaha Performing Arts President Joan Squires announced the run dates for Hamilton, one of Broadway's hottest tickets. Hamilton will take up residency at the Orpheum Theater September 10th through the 29th in 2019. Other Broadway hits featured in the upcoming season include Aladdin, School of Rock and Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic Phantom of the Opera.
It isn't just Broadway shows that will bring people out to enjoy live prformences. Also announced at the reveal were one night events throughout the year with some big names in music and comedy. Some big names taking the stage in Omaha include Jay Leno, Rita Moreno, Gladys Knight and the Temptations with The Four Tops.
