A Council Bluffs man escaped injury after accidentally driving his car into the water at Big Lake Park Thursday morning.
Police say 58 year old Frank Spring told them he looked away from the road and lost control of his Chevy Malibu around 5:30. The car wound up in the water. A tow truck was able to pull the car out of the water around 7:00.
Spring was taken to the Pottawattamie County Jail on traffic charges.
