In the wake of Tristan Gebbia's sudden departure, some Husker fans are concerned we're suddenly too thin at quarterback. Certainly, the lack of a seasoned veteran on the depth chart is cause for concern, but a quick review of the guys backing up starter Adrian Martinez this season should calm your nerves.
First of all, Coach Frost is reportedly working with the NCAA to speed up the eligibility of his quarterback transfer from Central Florida: Noah Vedral.

Despite my rants this morning, I wish Gebbia luck. But I'm not going to waste another second caring about someone who has such little passion for this program that he leaves his team five days before the season opener. We're in good hands here, no matter who is under center ... though I wish our coach had another year of eligibility left.
