FOX SAYS HANNITY HAS FULL SUPPORT AFTER MICHAEL COHEN REVELATION
Fox News Channel said yesterday that it was as surprised as everyone else when it was disclosed in court a day earlier that its popular primetime host Sean Hannity has also been a client of President Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, but that Hannity, quote, "continues to have our full support."
Hannity has said his dealings with Cohen were about real estate advice and that it didn't rise to the level that he had to disclose it. Fox stated yesterday that it had reviewed what it called Hannity's "informal relationship" with Cohen and talked to Hannity about it.
Hannity is a fierce defender of Trump, and had repeatedly blasted the recent FBI raids on Cohen's office, home and hotel room. It's considered unethical for a journalist to have a professional relationship with someone they frequently report on, particularly if the relationship isn't disclosed to their boss or to viewers or readers.
