Tennessee middle schooler Keaton Jones says in a heartbreaking video originally uploaded to Facebook Friday. "I have no friends." But after the video was shared more than 430,000 times and viewed more than 20 million times, his friends now include rappers (Snoop Dogg), Hollywood stars (Chris "Capt. America" Evans, and football players (the Tennessee Titans), CBS News reports.
Everyone's telling this kid they want him to come to a game, or the next Avengers movie. Or telling him how special he is (and he is).
However, why isn't a single one of these celebrities not using their platform to wonder what is going on in that school?!? Why can't teachers and monitors stop this from happening? What happens to Keaton if he fights back, or someone fights the bullies on his behalf (expulsion, probably)?
These are the issues here. And it's happening across the country to a lot more kids than poor Keaton. These are the concerns that parents deserve to have addressed in every school.
