SCIENTISTS FIND THE FORMULA FOR THE PERFECT HOLIDAY SONG
When it comes to holiday songs, some are definitely better than others. A scientist claims he's cracked the code of what makes the "happiest Christmas song ever," and he even created a song to back up his claims.
His tune is entitled, "Love's Not Just For Christmas," is three minutes long, has bells ringing in the chorus, and mentions the word "Christmas" 21 times. The formula for the song was created by Dr. Joe Bennett, a Boston Conservatory musicologist.
To come up with his perfectly happy holiday tune, Bennett studied the lyrics, tempo, musical key and vocals of 200 Christmas songs.
