The mystery of why red lights seemed to be flashing from two windows at the White House on Sunday night has been solved.
There was a frenzy of speculation on social media after TV cameras that are regularly positioned on the White House captured red strobe lights that seemed to be coming from two windows on the second floor of the residence. President Trump was home at the time.
But a Secret Service spokesperson ended the mystery on Monday with a very mundane explanation, saying the red lights were a reflection from emergency vehicles responding to a medical incident outside the White House grounds. The spokesperson told the New York Post, "The red lights had nothing to do with the White House."
