"Nebraska Medicine" says construction crews will close Dewey Avenue Saturday morning, May 8th, from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for placement of a crane for a future expansion project at UNMC.
The emergency room at 4350 Dewey Ave. will remain open and accessible via 44th Street during this time.
The actual expansion project in the Nebraska Medicine Core Lab will be taking place later this month, when Dewey Avenue will again be blocked for a period of two days.
Information about the rerouting of traffic for that project will be shared prior to that date.
