A beekeeping and landowner learning circle is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meadowlark Coffee and Espresso, at 1624 South St., Lincoln, Nebraska.
“Women beekeeper and landowner meetup” will focus on the importance of agreements between beekeepers and landowners. This includes considerations to include in an agreement, along with an overview of resources available to both parties.
Amy Swoboda, from Legal Aid, will present.
“We’ll talk about what has worked in agreements and how to make those relationships successful,” said Kirstin Bailey, project associate with the Center for Rural Affairs. “Come with ideas for future learning circles.”
There is no cost to attend. Interested participants are asked to RSVP to Kirstin at email@example.com or at 402.367.8989. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
This event is hosted by the Center for Rural Affairs and University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and made possible by funding from a Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education grant from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
