Iowa Dairy Farmer Wins Lawsuit Against Power Company

24/7 News Source reports the Iowa Court of Appeals is ruling in favor of an Iowa dairy farmer and his claim that nearby power lines harmed his business.  In a decision released today, the court said the Burdick family should receive the half-a-million-dollars a jury awarded them in the case in 2015.

The Burdick's sued Interstate Power and Light in 2013 arguing that stray voltage decreased milk production in their cows and caused breeding problems.  The power company could appeal to the state Supreme Court.
