From USA Today:
Teenager Jacob Jarvis is an Ohio State superfan with Duchenne muscular dystrophy — an incurable genetic disorder that causes muscle degeneration.
Back when the Buckeyes won the national championship in the inaugural College Football Playoff in 2015, Jarvis was on the field and got a chance to hold the trophy and celebrate with the team.
Saturday during Ohio State’s spring game, he was also on the field but this time as a player.
After getting a high-five from coach Urban Meyer, Jarvis got the ball for the game’s final snap with six seconds left and took it all the way to the end zone for the Scarlet team’s final touchdown in its 44-31 win over the Gray team. The crowd at the Horseshoe roared, and the Buckeyes rallied around him for a truly amazing moment.
