Federal prosecutors said Friday that two Hungarian men have been caught with stolen mail and cash after using a series of cards at a St. Louis County ATM.

Mrejuica Madalin, 30, and Laszlo Solomes, 31, were arrested by St. Louis County police on Tuesday and have been charged by complaint in U.S. District Court in St. Louis with possession of 15 or more counterfeit access devices, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.

Prosecutors want both held in jail until trial, as they claim Madalin was using a fake Belgian passport in someone else's name and Solomes did not have a valid U.S. visa.
