Omaha Homicide Victim Identified

Omaha Police identify the victim of a homicide.

Detectives say 34-year-old Joshua Perrin of Omaha died after being shot near 56th and Hamilton Streets.

Officers went to the area Tuesday evening on a report of a shooting, and found Perin with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to a hospital with CPR in progress and was later pronounced dead.

Police are investigating whether robbery was a factor in the shooting.
