New Information In Late Thursday Afternoon South Omaha Crash

Investigators say Council Bluffs Police end a vehicle pursuit at the Veterans' Memorial Bridge late Thursday afternoon, but Omaha Police say the Cadillac driven by 23-year old Raymondo Silva - Gomez of Bellevue blew through a red light at 13th and Missouri Avenue, hitting a southbound Nissan SUV carrying four Omahans.

Police say four of the five people involved have serious, but non - life threatening injuries.

An accident report identifies the driver of the Nissan as 18-year old Rosa Espinosa, who was treated for an arm fracture.

Two children in the Nissan backseat were thrown from the vehicle, suffering broken bones, cuts and bruises.

The front seat passenger of the Nissan is 17-year old Denice Garcia, who was treated for aches and pains after being taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.

Police cite Silva - Gomez for willful reckless driving, no valid registration, and no insurance. He has a broken leg.
