Three Arrests Made In Lincoln Jewelry Store Heist

LINCOLN, Nebraska - Lincoln Police made three arrests in the robbery of Elder Jewelry at 29th and Pine Lake Wednesday afternoon.

Police say that two men armed with a gun walked into the store around 5:20 p.m. and demanded jewelry. After receiving the merchandise they took off. Employees say there was a woman inside the business just before the robbery and she may be involved. No employees were hurt. Officers searched the area and were able to recover some of the jewelry.

At 6:30 p.m., offers received a call from a man asking to come to a house near the store. Police located that man near the Southpointe Mall around 7:30 and believed he was one of the suspects. Officers took 19 year old Brandell McKissic-Elliot of Minneapolis into custody.

Just after 10 p.m., officers located the other male suspect and the woman who had been in the store earlier at 27th and Pine Lake. There, 22 year old Anthony Toliver of Oakdale, Minnesota and 19 year old Ashley Janssen of Mora, Minnesota were also arrested.

All three suspects are charged with robbery and Tolliver also with use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Lincoln Police add they rely on citizens being the eyes and ears for us. This is a great example of our community coming together to catch those responsible.
