A doctor in Denver has been arrested and is facing federal child pornography charges for allegedly filming his young male patients during their examinations and posting the videos on Tumblr.
When officials at Tumblr discovered that 31-year-old Justin Bowen Neisler was uploading the pornographic videos, they shut down his account and deleted the posts. That didn't stop Neisler, who kept creating new accounts to share the videos of his naked underage patients.
In October, the FBI received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about the pornographic videos. The tip said that the videos had been posted by somebody at Neisler's home. The FBI raided Neisler's house on March 13th and took him into custody without incident.
During the search of his home, investigators found a black spy pen which they believed he used to film the boys. They also discovered copies of the videos he secretly recorded.
Neisler admitted to filming the boys, who were as young as eleven, and officials "believe he appeared to gain sexual gratification from the examinations."
Neisler is facing up to 20 years in jail if he is convicted on the charges. The FBI says they could file more charges as their investigation continues.
"The investigation is ongoing into the alleged offense and other federal criminal child exploitation offenses, including the production of child pornography," a statement from the U.S. attorney's office said.
