The search is on for an Omaha man after a 24-year-old woman was stabbed several times on Friday night.
Officers were called to an apartment complex at 10025 Crown Point Plaza around 8:15 and found Trellnequa George suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to Nebraska Medical Center to be treated..
Police have identified 26 year old Jarel Wilkins as the suspect and are asking for the public for help finding him. At this point, Wilkins does not have an active warrant in connection with the stabbing, but police say he does have two warrants for assault and shoplifting for unrelated incident.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wilkins is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
