Gretna Couple Arrested After Drugs Found In Business

Sarpy County authorities say a husband and wife from Gretna are facing charges after they found a variety of drugs at a their business Thursday evening.

37 year old Isaac Grell was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Felony Child Abuse.

His wife, 39 year old Jamie Grell, was booked for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Felony Child Abuse.

Shortly before 5:30 P.M. Thursday, the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and the Omaha Metro Drug Task Force served a court authorized search warrant on the business, known as NE-Thing Smokin’ Glass Shop in Gretna.

The Sheriff's Office says a search revealed approximately one pound of processed Marijuana, nearly a pound of T.H.C. wax, psychedelic mushrooms, approximately four ounces of suspected Hashish, baggies and scales. Two loaded semi-automatic handguns and one loaded revolver were also seized.

Investigators said that a search of the Grell residence near 168th and Giles turned up a marijuana grow operation in the basement that contained nine mature plants, additional processed marijuana, grow lights, fertilizer, and butane processing equipment utilized to produce the THC wax.

Authorities also seized $800 in cash. Two children were home at the time of the search.
