90 Pounds Of Pot Off Found During I-80 Traffic Stop

Another drug bust for the Nebraska State Patrol.

At 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 1st, a trooper saw a 2007 GMC pickup fail to use a turn signal to change lanes on I-80 near Shelton.

During the stop a State Patrol drug dog detected something in the vehicle so troopers conducted a search. Troopers found 90 pounds of marijuana hid in kitchen cabinets and homemade wooden boxes in the bed of the pickup.

The driver, 45 year old Ying Zhu from Rowland Heights, California was arrested for possession of marijuana - more than one pound, possession with intent to deliver and no drug stamp.
