Council Bluffs Middle School Para Resigns Following Abuse Accusations

A Council Bluffs Community School District employee has resigned following accusations that he inappropriately touched two students.

District officials say the unnamed para-educator was working at Wilson Middle School up until his resignation. The man hasn't been named at this point because he has not been arrested and no charges have been filed against him.

The alleged inappropriate contact reportedly occurred in a classroom earlier this month, with two female students reporting the incident to school administrators.

Officials say after placing the man on leave during the investigation, he never returned to the classroom and eventually resigned. He will not be able to work in the Council Bluffs Community School District again.
