A Saturday morning crash in Council Bluffs sent one man to the hospital and temporarily shut down an interstate ramp.
Council Bluffs Police say at about 3:18 they were dispatched to southbound I-29, where a Chevy Impala left the roadway.
Authorities say the 26 year old driver, from La Vista, was merging on to westbound I-80 when he lost control and went off the north side of the roadway.
The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The ramp from I-29 South to I-80 West was shut down for about an hour.
Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash and that charges are pending against the driver.
