The Meadowlark Model A Club and the Douglas County Historical Society are co-hosting Vintage Wheels at the Fort car show.
Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 10AM to 2PM
Beautifully preserved vehicles from 1900 to 1970 line the historic grounds of Fort Omaha. From elegant early automobiles to mid-century classics, this free community event is a celebration of craftsmanship, nostalgia, and history on wheels.
Guests can enjoy free admission to the General Crook House Museum, cast their vote for their favorite vehicle, snap photos at our vintage-themed photo booth complete with classic cars and props, and grab a bite from a local food truck while exploring the show. Awards will be presented at 1:45PM.
Vehicle entry is free. Open to vintage vehicles from 1900–1970 (no hot rods or modern custom builds).
