EASTERN NEBRASKA, WESTERN IOWA - A Tornado Watch is in effect until 12 a.m. Wednesday, September 25th for Burt, Cass, Colfax, Cuming, Dakota, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, Thurston and Washington Counties in Nebraska.
The Tornado Watch also includes a large portion of Iowa with more than 50 counties listed. Those closest to the Omaha metro include Pottawattamie, Fremont, Harrison, Mills and Shelby County.
A watch means that conditions are possible for the formation of tornadoes.
