Council Bluffs Police are looking for a baseball bat-wielding man who they say struck a customer during a robbery at the Kwik Shop near 36th and Avenue G late Sunday morning.
Officers arrived around 10:15 and spoke with a 35 year old man from Nebraska. He told them a man entered the business and hit him in the leg with an aluminum baseball bat. He demanded money from him and had the store employees empty the cash registers and give him the money.
The suspect then left the business and ran west from the area. Police say he was wearing a gray zip-up Hoodie, black mask over his mouth and nose and was wearing burgundy sweatpants.
