We're going to eat Kangaroo!!!!!

I'm not even kidding you!  Chef Andrew Loughrey and GM Steve Grosz at 360 Steakhouse atop Harrah's Casino Council Bluffs have put together the most ususual, most gourmet menu I have ever seen!


On the evening of Monday, Feb. 24th, starting at 6:30, will begin with the Poached Moreton Bay Bug (aka, "lobster") with lemon ailoli and tomato-avacado salsa.  I think that's the food definition of "heavenly."

Then, our double main course (you get both; you do not have to choose):

The Conventional:  Grilled Tasmanian King Salmon Fillet, salsify puree, asparagus, salsify chip with balsamic jus

The I-Can't-Believe-It:  Seared Kangaroo Loin, yukon gold potato puree, roasted shallots with red wine demi

And, for dessert, you'll enjoy something they call "Chocolate Bailey's Decadence."  Yummmmmmmmmmm...

You'll be treated to Chef Andrew's live cooking demonstration on the kangaroo (I suggested they bring a live one in to box us ... he said he'd think about it ... I think he was joking...), as well as one of the best views that any restaurant can boast of in the area:
