Jill Tahmooressi of Florida, mother of jailed Marine Andrew Tahmooressi, will be in Omaha for a rally in support of her son. “Andrew has lost all of his life savings,” said his mother, Jill Tahmooressi. His life savings includes the combat pay he was able to save while in Afghanistan.
Sgt Tahmooressi is a decorated Marine, who served two tours in Afghanistan. Sgt Tahmooressi has been held in a Mexican prison since March 31, 2014. He was in San Diego receiving treatment for PTSD when he made a wrong turn and ended up on the wrong side of the Mexican/US border. He informed Border Patrol Agents he did not want to enter Mexico, but was arrested. He has been threatened by inmates, stripped and beaten by guards, denied water, and chained to his cot for more than 30 days.
Everyone struggles with a way to help and now we can:
1. Attend the Rally and show your support so that Mrs. Tahmooressi and Andrew know that Americans living in the Midwest care.
2. Make a donation at the Rally. Funds are needed for legal expenses.
3. If you can’t attend, you can still make a donation on Andrew’s official web site:
This event is organized by Bill & Evonne Williams of Patriotic Productions, Omaha. For more information: www.PatrioticProductions.org Patriotic Productions has a mission of honoring our military.
