Are things getting better?

A very smart man said to me; "perception is reality. I know this is not a popular theory but it is true so let's start here. When the Unicameral started ramming their reform ideas down our throats courtesy of the Soros funded Council of States Government, nobody would answer my question; "how do you measure success?" I ask over and over; "how will you know if it's working and how will you know if it's not?" Crickets!

The director Scott Frakes inherited a mess and I don't see it getting any better. They can't keep officers costing taxpayers thousands of dollars, they have no consequences and I have been told by a source that they installed cable TV in the isolation unit. If that is true then why wouldn't an inmate punch an officer if the punishment is privacy and cable TV? Just saying "the reforms are working" isn't going to cut it. I need data, I need real evidence and I need that glorified homeowners association known as the Nebraska Unicameral to build another prison. Fat chance though since in our justice system based on cost will most likely decide it's cheaper to settle the coming ACLU lawsuit.
