Omaha Police say an eight year old boy who was struck by a car Monday afternoon near 45th and Grover has died.
Sergeant Chuck Casey says a Mini Cooper was heading east on Grover when Jalen Duncan was hit while trying to cross the street from the south to the north side of the street.
Witnesses told police there was a group of kids playing in the area on the south side of Grover when Duncan tried to cross at a non-cross walk.
Duncan was struck by the side mirror and a portion of the windshield.
