Nebraska picks up Texas wide receiver transfer Marcus Washington

(Lincoln, NE) -- The Huskers add a third wide receiver transfer in former Texas Longhorns Marcus Washington.

On Tuesday morning, Washington announced that he committed to Nebraska, passing on offers from other schools like Purdue and Utah. Washington is now the 15th player the Huskers have added from the transfer portal for the 2022 season. Nebraska also added LSU's Trey Palmer and New Mexico State's Isaiah Garcia-Castaneda through the transfer portal.

Washington, a St. Louis native, stands at 6'2" and weighs in at 195 pounds. He has two years of eligibility left, along with a redshirt season.
