(Omaha, NE) -- An investigation us underway after two women die from drug overdoses.
Omaha Police say the women died at an apartment near 70th and Hascall Street just before 3:00 Sunday afternoon. Investigators say Omaha Fire Department medics also transported a man and a woman from the scene to CUMC - Bergan Mercy Hospital. OPD would also like to remind citizens of Nebraska State Statute 28-472, which grants amnesty from criminal prosecution to anyone who requests emergency medical assistance in response to a drug overdose of himself, herself, or another person.
