(Lincoln, NE) -- An investigation is underway after a woman was stabbed and a man was found hanging in a Lincoln home.
Lincoln Police say just before 7:00 Wednesday night, someone called police reporting a female had been stabbed at a home near 30th and E streets. Investigators says when officers arrived, they heard a female inside screaming for help and forced entry into the home. Police say once inside, officers found a 32-year-old female with multiple lacerations on her body. LPD says officers were told there was another person in the basement. Investigators say in the basement, officers found a 37-year-old male hanging from a rope. LPD says officers performed life-saving measures until LFR personnel arrived.
