(Fremont, NE) -- An Iowa man is identified as the person killed in a Wednesday afternoon crash near Fremont.
The Nebraska State Patrol says 32 year old Anthony Branam, of Villisca, Iowa, died after his van rear-ended a semi on Highway 77. Investigators say Branam was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, just north of Fremont. The NSP says Branam’s northbound van hit a commercial semi-truck from behind. The semi driver was not injured.
