UNL student charged for making threats against Chancellor Ronnie Green

(Lincoln, NE) -- A University of Nebraska-Lincoln student is facing charges after reportedly threatening Chancellor Ronnie Green.

According to an affidavit, the student made the threat through a messaging app. The threat read, "Just planted a 2nd B0mb in thee chancellors office!!! #HesMyChancellor.” K-9 dogs were sent in to check Green's office, but no bombs were found. An arrest warrant was issued for the student and according to the affidavit, the student admitted to making the threats, but as a joke.

The student is now being charged for making a terroristic threat.
