Omaha Police identify motorcyclist killed in Monday morning crash

(Omaha, NE) -- A motorcyclist killed in an early morning crash is identified.

Omaha Police say around 5:45 Monday morning, officers were called to NW Radial & Nicholas for a crash involving a motorcycle and pickup truck. Police say a Harley Davidson, driven by 33 year old Pedro Flores of Omaha, was southbound on NW Radial. Investigators say an eastbound Toyota Tundra on Nicholas stopped at the stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection, hitting the motorcycle.

Flores was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck, 60 year old Mark Simmons, was not injured. The crash remains under investigation.
