Yutan Fire and Rescue reports a 16-year old pilot successfully made an emergency landing of his small plane Sunday evening in a field northeast of Yutan.
The first responder to arrive noticed a plane upright and the teen out of the plane.
No injuries reported and no damage to the plane;
The young solo pilot said the aircraft had suffered engine failure.
