Omaha Police release photos of suspect vehicle involved in hit and run

(Omaha, NE) -- The Omaha Police Department releases photos of the vehicle they say was involved in a Wednesday night hit and run.

Investigators say around 9:15 Wednesday night, officers were called to the area of 13th and Arbor for a hit and run accident. Police say the investigation showed that 45 year old Tara Boice was crossing 13th Street from west to east when she was hit by a white, southbound SUV. OPD says the vehicle did not stop after hitting Boice, and fled the scene to the south.

Boice was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center with serious injuries.

The suspect vehicle, pictured above, is described as a newer white SUV with black roof rails, black wheels and tinted windows. The investigation is ongoing.
