(Council Bluffs, IA) -- The Council Bluffs Police Department is investigating after a body was found in a park Tuesday morning.
CBPD says around 11:30 Tuesday morning, officers were called to the area of Lookout Point at Fairmount Park for a reported body. Police say once on the scene, officers found a decomposed female body. Investigators consider the woman's death suspicious.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday. The investigation is ongoing.
