The city of Council Bluffs urges its citizens to be patient as solid waste collection crews fall behind.
In a Tuesday morning news release, the city said "Waste Connections" is experiencing staffing shortages. So until further notice, materials should be placed outside on normal collection days and be left out until collection.
A reminder: trash, yard waste, and recyclables may be collected in a different style truck than the ones people are usually see.
