Omaha Police officers were dispatched to 19th and Paul Streets north of downtown late Wednesday night to investigate a report of a shooting.
Police say when they arrived, they found a 34- year old male, Gale Broncho-Bill, down along the curb with a number of wounds.
Omaha Fire Department paramedics took Broncho-Bill to a hospital in critical condition.
