Garth Brooks concert at Memorial Stadium sells out

(Lincoln, NE) -- Tickets to Garth Brooks' highly anticipated concert at Lincoln's Memorial Stadium are sold out.

Tickets went on sale at 10:00 Friday morning, and within 47 minutes, 70,000 tickets were sold. About 90 minutes after the tickets went on sale, all 83,000+ available tickets were gone. The University of Nebraska said it could accommodate 90,000 fans in Memorial Stadium for the concert, which will be Memorial Stadium's first music concert since 1987.

The Lincoln show is the largest listed audience capacity so far on Brooks' Stadium Tour, which includes stops in: Salt Lake City’s Rice-Eccles Stadium (50,000), Cincinnati’s Paul Brown Stadium (75,000), Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium (75,000) and Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium (65,000).

The concert is Saturday, August 14th.
