FBI Joins La Vista Child Search

The FBI is now helping local law enforcement in the massive search for a missing La Vista child, a search that Thursday is now in Day Four.

La Vista Police Chief Bob Lauston, interviewed by 6 News about the intensive search for Ryan Larsen, who is autistic, said they called on the FBI for help because of their resources and experience in looking for missing children.

Investigators believe the child has not had food or water since he disappeared, and they are asking the public to check anywhere a child could hide.

Police are asking the entire Omaha metro area to be on the lookout for Ryan including a check of doorbell and home security cameras.
