(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and the Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park near Ashland are nominated in the USA TODAY "10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards."
The Zoo is nominated in two categories: “Best Zoo” and “Best Zoo Exhibit” for the Asian Highlands exhibit. The Simmons Wildlife Safari Park is nominated in the “Best Safari Park” category.
As of Tuesday, Omaha's Zoo is in third place in voting, while the Safari Park and Asian Highlands exhibit are both currently in first place. Voting closes on May 24th.
