(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police have arrested a 19 year old man in connection to a number of reported sexual assaults.
The Omaha Police department says during the afternoon and overnight hours on Sunday, March 28th, officers became aware of a suspicious man in Downtown Omaha approaching women, touching their bodies, making sexual comments, and/or making attempts to physically touch them.
Investigators say the same suspect was involved in at least two disturbances other involving physical altercations. The Omaha Police Adult Sexual Assault Squad identified Larenz Lissa as the suspect involved in at least one of the incidents, and took him into custody.
The Sexual Assault Squad believes there may be additional victims and witness with important information regarding these and other incidents. OPD is unable to release a mugshot at this time due to the ongoing investigation, but would like to encourage the public to contact 402-444-5636 with any information regarding similar incidents that happened on Sunday in the downtown area.
