Northwest Omaha Shooting Investigated

Omaha Police officers were sent to 99th and Maple Streets Tuesday evening to investigate a shooting and found 40-year-old Bobby Walker suffering from a gunshot wound.

Walker told officers he was shot while walking in the area, possibly by a black male with dreadlocks, driving a light blue sedan.

Omaha Fire Department paramedics were called and took Walker to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

The investigation is ongoing.
