Police say Omaha woman was beaten with a bat and stabbed by her boyfriend

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police are looking for a man they say beat his girlfriend with a bat before stabbing the woman.

Omaha Police say around 2:45 Tuesday morning, officers were called to the area of 41st and Hamilton for a reported stabbing. Police say once on the scene, officers located 19 year old Arianna Stout at a nearby home.

Stout told police that her boyfriend hit her with a bat and cut her with a knife before fleeing the scene in her car. Stout was taken to Nebraska Medicine with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
