Nebraska prison inmate serving time for murder and kidnapping dies

(Lincoln, NE) -- A Nebraska inmate has died at the Nebraska State Penitentiary in Lincoln.

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Service says 65 year old Harold Wilson died at NSP on Monday. NDCS says Wilson's sentence started on October 17, 1986. He was serving a 56 to 170 year sentence for first degree sexual assault, robbery, kidnapping and first degree murder out of Dawson County.

NDCS says although Wilson's cause of death hasn't been determined yet, he suffered from multiple medical conditions. As is the case whenever an inmate dies in the custody of the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services, a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
