New Omaha City Council Member To Be Sworn In

Colleen Brennan will take the oath of office to become the newest member of the Omaha City Council.

Brennan takes over in southwest Omaha's Council District 5 for Rich Pahls, who was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in the November General Election.

Brennan says she hopes to be elected to the seat, and will be campaigning in the Spring Omaha Municipal Primary, with all council seats and the Mayor's office up for election.

Brennan is a Democrat, though Omaha city government is officially non-partisan.

Her appointment to the council will last until June 6th of this year.
